Billings Flying Service, Inc. frequently operates its Sikorsky S-61, Bell 212, UH-1H “Huey” and Bell 206 helicopters in support of wildland firefighting operations. Our aircraft are USFS and DOI approved for interagency operations. We utilize both externally mounted fire buckets and belly tanks for fire suppression and other operations in contract with the US Government and various state and local organizations.
Our helicopter fire suppression resources are also available contracting to the private sector.
