
The Bell UH-1 “Huey” helicopter is perhaps the most famous American helicopter ever made. Having made its large-scale debut during the Vietnam War, the Huey has remained an unbeatable workhorse in it’s size and weight category.
Our UH-1H helicopters have been modernized and upgraded with various components improving performance, efficiency and economy including:
- Lycoming 703 engine for increased power and lower fuel consumption
- Bell composite main rotor blades for increased gross weight performance at altitude and temperature
- Higher-efficiency Van Horn composite tail rotor blades
- BLR Fast Fin tail pylon body and BLR tailboom strakes for increase tail rotor authority
- Modern avionics including aviation communications radios, GPS navigation and digital FM radios for air-ground communication
